Comprehensive Eye Exam

Comprehensive eye exams with your doctor of optometry are one of the most important, preventive ways to preserve vision, and the only way to accurately assess eye health, diagnose an eye disorder or disease, and determine the need for corrective lenses.

Myopia Management

Myopia is a growing concern among eye health professionals for good reason. Not only is it one of the world’s most common ocular abnormalities, but also its prevalence is increasing at an alarming rate. Researchers have estimated that by 2050, almost half the global population will be myopic. And children with early-onset myopia are at a major risk. The longer the duration of nearsightedness, the greater the danger of pathologic myopia and complications later in life, including retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataract, and optic disc changes.

Specialty Contact lenses

Specialty contacts are lenses that are designed for patients who have corneal conditions or other eye issues for which conventional contacts aren’t suitable.

Dr. Jang, K. OD

Western University of Health Sciences, Doctor of Optometry graduate with Honor. She is bi-lingual, fluent in Korean. She has been a member of American Optometry Association and duly elected as member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Specialized in Hard Contact Lens fit for Keratoconus/Irregular cornea. LASIK/Cataract co-management with NVISON

Dr. Mukai, E.

A member of the American Optometric Association for 25 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at UCLA and her Doctorate Degree at the Southern California College of Optometry. She has served as a commissioned officer for the United States Department of Health and Human Services and is currently serving as inactive reserve. Dr. Mukai has worked as a contracting optometrist for the Harbor UCLA County Eye Clinic for 17 years.
